Reflections on The View Beyond
The View Beyond was a wonderful experience and a gentle introduction to exhibiting my work alongside other artists.
I went into it not knowing quite what to expect, and came away feeling genuinely encouraged and a little overwhelmed by the interest in my paintings, the conversations and the generous feedback I received.
I especially appreciated sharing the experience with the other artists, each bringing with them years worth of experience along with something quite different to the exhibition.
It was also really good to be part of an event supporting the important work of Roses in the Ocean.
More than anything, the experience has given me greater confidence in my work and a renewed excitement about where my painting might take me next.
I'm so grateful to everyone who visited, encouraged us and helped make it happen.
